Komro Sales & Services, Inc. is a privately owned company serving the Dairy and Agricultural Industry since 1960. We provide our customers with facility design and construction services which includes; sales and service for irrigation; grain handling; manure handling; and constructing high tech manure separation systems nationwide. In addition, we handle a broad line of manure handling, feed handling, & skid steer equipment. Komro Sales is constantly developing manpower to support, with innovation, our growing customer base.

Komro Sales & Service is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop the sales team while driving growth in agricultural equipment, compact machinery, and related service sales through strong customer relationships, strategic territory development, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and profitability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the sales team in the growth of agricultural equipment, compact machinery, and related service sales through strong customer relationship management and strategic territory development.

  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining target margins and overall profitability goals.

  • Oversee and coordinate daily sales activities, customer follow-ups, prospecting efforts, and territory management for the sales team.

  • Coach and support sales representatives in effectively communicating product features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and customer demands to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.

  • Collaborate with leadership to recommend improvements to products, services, pricing strategies, and sales processes based on market feedback and sales performance.

  • Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns by developing solutions that strengthen customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

  • Promote incremental revenue growth through upselling, service opportunities, and strategic account management.

  • Ensure the sales team maintains a high level of professional and technical product knowledge through ongoing training, industry networking, and professional development.

  • Maintain accurate sales documentation, reporting, and compliance standards across the sales department.

  • Lead or support sales presentations, customer events, trade shows, and promotional activities as needed.

  • Conduct regular ride-alongs and joint sales calls with team members to provide coaching, mentorship, and performance support.

  • Manage and grow key accounts and high-priority customer relationships requiring additional leadership involvement.

  • Establish individual and team sales goals, monitor performance metrics, and implement motivation and accountability strategies to drive results and professional growth.

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented sales culture focused on customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within the agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, or machinery industry.

  • Strong understanding of sales strategy, territory development, and customer relationship management.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Valid driver’s license with a Class A CDL or ability to obtain a CDL

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office, field, and customer site visits.

  • Travel required for customer meetings, sales calls, trade shows, and training events.
